Vancouver-born, Sarah now lives on a rural property in Northern NSW with her partner, young son, and a growing menagerie of animals. She creates hand-drawn digital illustrations in Procreate, known for their expressive line work, cohesive colour palettes, and subtle wabi-sabi charm. Sarah has a particular love for illustrated maps, bringing places to life through thoughtful detail and storytelling composition.

If you could go anywhere, anytime, to develop your creative skills, where would you go? I found the architecture in Helsinki really inspiring and so fun to draw. I would love to check out other countries in the Nordic region and get inspired by their architecture and pastries. Also, another road trip in America! The landscape is so diverse and I love painting in the passenger seat while someone else does all the work driving.
