How do you get out of an artblock? There are two ways I get through an artblock or creative slump: One – I go and see some art and get inspired, and two – I change tack and experiment with a different medium. My stash of art supplies has enabled many art shop proprietors to pay off their mortgages.

If you could go anywhere, anytime, to develop your creative skills, where would you go? The Dutch Golden Age – Rembrandt and Vermeer. Rembrandt ran a workshop – that would be incredible.
