Sue Doeksen’s bright and bold conceptual illustrations for Qantas Magazine. Harnessing the power of data – the analytics of consumer shopping habits, nano satellites connecting everything globally, artificial intelligence cutting the hours needed to edit massive legal documents, introducing biological sensors into the digital realm with dogs being taught to sniff out pests and disease in vineyards while wearing a backpack containing an app and healthy heart habits monitored through an app.
February 15 Sue Doeksen illustrated the Tongo Discover Music App, teaching children as young as four about classical music. Using her signature bright colours and simplistic shapes, Sue created the hero character Tongo and his friends and the friendly and engaging landscape around them. The app introduces children to instruments and notes through the music of famous composers including Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Bach and many more. Available on iTunes. Created by Firstconcert Productions. Add a little touch of magic to your phone, it’s a very special one.
