Paul made a panorama drawing of the streets of Adelaide, Australia where the band is based. After a meetings with the band Paul translated their songs and ideas about the album into the chaotic events that are illustrated around the entire digipak. It’s got a separate bottle cap sticker designed by Paul inside and of course nice music by the band.  You can listen here….

Paul Borchers works on mural in Copenhagen with his Art Collective Kamp Horst

September 2, 2013 Paul Borchers is a New Zealand born, London based illustrator represented by The Illustration Room. He recently worked on a mural with his Art Collective Kamp Horst at a post production company in Copenhagen called Frame.

KAMP HORST is an art collective from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The main focus of its six members lies on making group paintings on both canvases and walls, but illustration and design also make up a big part of the KAMP HORST body of work. Established after the demise of its predecessor, Dutch collective Antistrot, 5 members of this world renowned group (Antistrot have shown work in NYC, Miami, Tokyo, Dublin, San Francisco and Berlin, to name but a few) decided to bring things back to life with a new collective. KAMP HORST has been active in some shape or form since 2010, but with a changing cast of characters, and under different names. The group settled on the name and a core group of members in 2012.

Paul Borchers for HQ Asia

March 13, 2013. Paul Borchers work is also featured in the launch issue of HQ Asia. Paul has been illustrating since 2003.  His clear style has a twist on vintage comics. His line art is playful and detailed using either a Rotring or a thin brush to achieve his smooth hair lines.
