Niki Fisher for Arts NSW

December 7, 2016 Niki Fisher for Arts NSW Cultural Tourism Toolkit – promoting the arts in regional NSW and designed to assist small regional communities to enhance, profile and package their cultural offering. Growing up in Tumbarumba, Niki bought her own experiences and family life into the illustrations of towns in rural NSW.

“When TCYK Agency approached us looking for an illustrator who had strong connections to rural NSW we had several people we could suggest. Their client, Arts NSW, chose Tumbarumba born Niki Fisher for their collaboration and commissioned her to illustrate scenes from daily life in a rural town. Her illustrations sit along side photography in the Arts NSW Cultural Tourism Tool Kit produced by the NSW Government. It was very special for us to be involved in such a lovely initiative helping to grow cultural tourism and promote art galleries, museums, theatre groups, writers centres, local artists and craftspeople and historical societies across NSW ”
