services - create a new illustration or artwork to suit your brief

Discovery, Cathay Pacific Inflight Magazine, wanted an illustration for a feature about the sudden influx of wine imports into Hong Kong following the change of import-tax laws. The art director had a few ideas floating around in his head, one was wine bottles flying down onto Hong Kong island like planes, but he was not exactly sure how it could be executed successfully. It could not be cartoon style due to the sophisticated readership of the magazine, but at the same time it had to have a slight fantasy/imaginary feel to carry off the concept. He chose 2 artists he liked, we all discussed the brief and he chose Brian, with creative freedom he came up with this striking result.
