Our service has been established by art director Katie Perrott, who identified a need for quick and easy access to high-quality, creative illustrations during her 14-year career as a magazine art director in major Australian magazine publishing houses such as ACP, Pacific Magazines, Fairfax and Text Media, as well as INK Publishing in London, and Summit Media in The Philippines.

Having worked on titles such as ELLE, Australian Good Taste, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Men's Health, marie claire, BBC Top Gear and The Sun Herald, Katie understands that art directors need a simple method of commissioning or licensing quality images in confidence. She also has established procedures to ensure all images are delivered on time and within budget, providing a reliable service every time.

This fuss-free approach means that art directors can focus on their work, not on deadlines, bills or accounts, which is why most of our clients return to The Illustration Room again and again.
